Please note that this guide explains how to attach training data directly to a conversation.Attached data is treated as part of the initial prompt sent to the AI model. This means it uses the model’s context window. Once the conversation becomes long enough and reaches the model’s context limit, the AI may no longer remember the attached data.If you want the AI to consistently reference your uploaded documents throughout the conversation, regardless of how many messages you send or how much context is used, you should upload the documents as training files when setting up an AI Agent, learn more.
Step-by-step to upload your files to TypingMind
- Click the “Upload” icon or drag your file to the input box

- Browsing through your file directory and choose files you want to interact with. Please note that you can upload multiple files within a conversation

Important notes
Please take note of the following key points:- Our system supports Markdown, PDF, CSV, XLSX, TXT, DOCX, JSON, HTML
- Image files (such as .jpeg, .jpg, .webp) can be used via models that support vision.
- Make sure that the tokens in your PDF fall within the model’s maximum context length.
