Roles
To avoid confusion between parties, we use the following terms:| Role | Description |

| Reseller / Agency | You — implement TypingMind for businesses in your local market and provide added-value services like AI consulting and training. |
| Customers | The companies or universities that pay for the product and service. |
| End-Users | Employees or students who use the TypingMind platform. Some may be granted Admin access to manage the instance, add/remove members, create shared prompts and AI agents, etc. |

TypingMind does not provide generative AI services. It connects to AI providers and offers a unified interface. Customers must choose their own AI provider and pay for usage separately. Popular options include OpenAI (GPT-4), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and open-source models via MistralAI or Perplexity.
Choose your reselling structure
1. Resell type: Seat vs. Instance
Seat resell — Create one instance under your brand and sell individual seats to customers. Customers only access the end-user interface, not the Admin panel. Instance resell — Create a private instance for each customer under their brand, help them set up and manage it. Optionally grant them Admin panel access.2. AI provider & API cost
Option 1 — Reseller pays (recommended): You pay for the AI providers and configure the instance using your own API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google AI). Option 2 — Customer pays: You set up the instance, then the customer uses their own API keys and pays the AI provider directly.3. Deployment

4. Value-added services
TypingMind acts as a technical partner. We encourage you to add value for customers by offering:- Creating AI agents, prompts, and custom workflows
- Bundling the platform with your own consulting or training services
- Providing tailored solutions or support for specific customer needs
Reseller pricing
- Once a customer commits, you purchase the necessary instance or seats from TypingMind.
- You are free to set and charge your own pricing to customers.
- You only pay TypingMind the applicable platform fee.
General guidelines
- Generative AI does not solve all problems. Advise your customers truthfully and provide practical, relevant use cases.
- Do not promise specific ETAs for feature requests — forward them to us and we will evaluate for our roadmap. Our public roadmap is at typingmind.com/ideas.
- Ensure customers understand what they are purchasing. Direct them to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- When in doubt about anything product-related, reach out to us before making commitments.
